The Jena Project - Plate 4
Be it known that after all the burning of Black folks alive for the entertainment of white racists, we have yet to war against the AXIS OF EVIL which America has become. This new generation of Blacks aren't going to take your public display of nooses hanging from trees! I personally have witnessed two Black men beaten while handcuffed by police. Isn't America paying enough for racism against Blacks and others? Why is America STILL known for being a place of HATE by even Europeans? NJNP!XpeciallyAdrienne via youtube

Ok, Midnight, let's compare the incidents and look at the LEGAL differentiation between "simple battery" and "aggravated battery". An attack is "aggravated" under 4 conditions.

1) "The attack was against an officer." That's irrelevant here.

The Jena Project is a remixed, visual analysis of online speech, as seen through a year's worth of comment threads and discussions of photographs and video made by Michael David Murphy during last summer's trials, protests, and marches for the Jena Six in Jena, Louisiana.

A mixed-media project, The Jena Project pulls back the curtain on America's "conversation on race", while mapping language from an up-close (and often binary) street-level perspective.
